     A very nice couple adopted our sweet Louie and Lyla last Wednesday. They opened the door, and they ran all the way to the back door and out to see the lizards running up the trees. They were happy as a clam with their new mommy and daddy and didn't even say goodbye to us as we were leaving. Later, their mommy called me as she was heading to get more goodies from the doggie store. Now they are very happy lying on the nice soft chairs in the living room. Think they're spoiled?      A friend of mine passed away and his Springer was going to be euthanized and buried with him. I convinced his family to give the dog, JJ, to me. He had some health issues, but I posted on Rescue Me and I was swamped with emails from people who wanted to help. The English Springer Spaniel Rescue contacted me, arranged for someone to meet me and pick JJ up, and he's now in foster care, getting the attention and love he deserves. All within a day! I appreciate the kind and helpful people who answered my post, and I know JJ is being taken care of by someone who understands his problems and know hows to help. Rescue Me, thank you so much! Jeff Gold, thank you, and thank you to everyone else who helped JJ and me.

     Abby has officially been adopted. After an owner turn in and abandonment she finally is in the right home! Abby has languished as a long term shelter dog in the Lewis and Clark Humane Society as she is an intelligent 'escape artist'. A lovely couple saw her on Rescue Me! and drove all of the way to come and get her. She now has the right people that will spend quality time with her and her yard is a dream! We put our harder placements on your website or dogs that for some reason are constantly overlooked. Rescue Me! is not only fun to look at but it serves a purpose in helping homeless animals. We are so thankful that Rescue Me is a free website as advertising is too expensive for most shelters, and we are so grateful to Kevin and Jayne for adopting Abby. The home couldn't have been more perfect! She's one very lucky girl! Again thank you, Rescue Me!, you've given back a life and that gift is priceless!

     Thank you for this wonderful organisation that helped me find Socks a wonderful family. We found Socks, a male Springer Spaniel, wandering around on our street. He was taken into our home and the search for his owners commenced. He was not chipped, no-one came to claim him and sadly we could not keep him. While staying with our family he put on weight, was groomed, and had a thorough check by the vet. Everyone who met him loved him because he opened his heart to all those who would give him a tummy rub. Thanks to Rescue Me! we have found him a home that will give him a life of love and he will give his new family compassion back, and it only took one night until this family contacted us. Keep up this wonderful work.

     Thank you so much for your great website. A wonderful home found Corky just a few days after he was posted on Rescue Me! He is a great dog and deserves much more attention than I am able to give him. His new family has already written to tell me how wonderfully he has made himself at home, going for long walks and snuggling up next to people who are quickly falling in love with him, and even sleeping with them at night. I am welcome to ask about him or even visit him in his new home. Using your site, and getting to screen and know my pet's adoptive parents, is so much better than having to place him with a shelter and never knowing what happened to him.

     Dear RESCUE ME, Our family made the difficult decision to find a nice home for Cali. We had Cali since she was a puppy, but over the years our kids grew up and our job travel requirements kept us from home more and more. These two life changing events created a situation that was sad for Cali. She was left alone a lot and boarded frequently. You could see in her eyes that she was lonely and needed to enjoy life more often. I found RESCUE ME in search of a web solution to share our story and hopefully find a home for Cali... I posted my story and Cali's picture on a Sunday. Within 24 hours I had 5 families wanting to meet Cali. The first family that we met had our favorite situation and ended up adopting Cali two days later. They have a lot of land and an older Spring Spaniel to keep Cali company! They also have two younger boys that will be walking Cali and playing with her frequently. Their mother works out of the house and will be home to throw tennis balls to both the dogs and play throughout the day! We've since heard back from the adopting family and all is going extremely well for Cali, the older 'sister' and the entire family. What a great way to feel good about making this difficult decision!      This is such a wonderful site! I found Bandit an absolutely amazing home. I was scared to death to give him away, but I had no choice. I couldn't afford to pay the deposit to have a pet where I live, shoot times have been tough with the economy and I had to feed him the cheapest unhealthy food and he was underweight. Now Bandit is on an 80 acre farm with a loving couple and new friends! When I met them they were just as sweet as could be and I even got a follow up email to tell me how well Bandit had adjusted. Though I miss him terribly, I can sleep knowing he has so much love there, and they have the ability to give him everything he needs. I am so grateful to them and to RescueMe.Org. You saved my sweet Bandit and a thank you just is not saying enough!

     Wow! We got so many responses, it was incredible! I had to take her off while we interviewed a few of the more local people, and really only interviewed one. She has been adopted, and we will be taking her to her new home tomorrow. I had no idea that she would be wanted by so many people, and I thank you for having this site as a way to find a good home for good dogs that have gotten caught up in the messy circumstances of living with humans that cannot provide what they need.
