Hi, My husband and I rescued a sweet 5 year old pit/spaniel female named Darcey (her original name was Dharma but we renamed her). Her former owner had a baby and moved in with her mom who had too many dogs already. We had been wanting a dog for a while but we have realized we are not the right fit for her. We have two cats, a 1 and a half year old named Toby and a 10 year old named Suzie that I have had for 8 years. These cats are my babies. Darcey has tried to kill them and they now live in fear down the basement. She won't let them near us upstairs and now they won't even bother coming around her. I won't give up my cats to keep this ... (Read More)dog. She also is high energy and a barker and wants to be around people constantly but my husband and I work full time so she has to be crated most of the day and is almost hysterical by the time we get home at night wanting to play and get attention. It's very stressful for us and for her. She is crate trained and obedience trained but doesn't always listen well and has accidents when she's over-excited. She needs a home where she can be given lots of cuddles and love and be taken out or let out in a fenced in yard frequently. She is not aggressive towards people although she growls to get attention but she doesn't bite. She is not food aggressive or toy aggressive at all and will let you take things away from her. She doesn't chew household items but will take any kind of food left unattended anywhere. We don't have money for a behaviorist or lots of training and that won't help our cats at this point. She needs to go to a home that will be a better fit. Thank you for your time in reading this. (Less)

We are looking to re-home our family dog. While we are sad to see him go, we just can't provide for him the way he deserves any longer. He is an English Springer Spaniel / Pit Bull Terrier Mix, 7.5 years old. He LOVES our family, I would consider him the perfect family dog. I used to run a childcare center out of my home and he did GREAT with all the children and different parents. We are just now at a point where we are no longer able to care for him in the way he deserves. His name is Bryan and I know he can love you too! I think he will need a no other pet home in a place with plenty of space to run! I have plenty of pictures of him I ... (Read More)can send and can answer any questions! Please contact me. We are asking only for a $50 dollar re-homing fee that will be donated to a Pit Rescue. This is only to ensure he goes to a family that loves him. We will give you any supplies we have for free. The only thing I ask is that we can meet you in advance and let Bryan meet you so we can know we are giving him to a friendly home. We love our dog and want him to go to another family that will love him just as much! (Less)
